EverytimeI heard a news on tv about the dengue strikes again,I remembered the day when my eldest got a dengue way back to 2004.That was very scary moment in my life as a mother.Having that kind of sickness you cant even think what medicine could cure it,Because at that time no medicine was invented to cure.The dengue virus and evenuntil now.But we experience the native plants which is found our sorroundings.They called it "tawa-tawa plant."( salingkapaw).
We get plenty of tawa-tawa and washed it thoroughly with running water.We put it into the pot and pour 1 liter of water.We boil it for 30 minutes with low fire.Then warm,and serve it to the dengue virus patient,It's good also to serve to mix with softdrinks.It's tasteless,scentless it taste like a plain water. Serve to patient till the platelet back to normal count.

Were your son admitted in the hospital during that time and was he taking any other medications aside from this Salingkapaw?
